Tour Description

Your Sacred Journey Through Jerusalem

Begin the day high on the Mount of Olives, where Jesus once stood and wept over Jerusalem. The view is breathtaking: the golden Dome of the Rock shimmering over the ancient walls of the Old City, and below it, the path Jesus took during His triumphal entry on Palm Sunday. Walking downhill, you’ll pause at the Church of Dominus Flevit, shaped like a teardrop and marking the place where Jesus prophesied the city’s destruction. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane, one of the most moving stops on the tour. Just steps away stands the Church of All Nations, built over the rock where Jesus prayed in anguish before His arrest.

From here, you'll enter the Old City through Lion’s Gate, stepping directly onto the Via Dolorosa — the "Way of Suffering." This ancient street winds through the bustling Muslim and Christian Quarters, tracing the path Jesus walked while carrying His cross to Calvary.

You'll pause at several Stations of the Cross, reflecting on each moment of that harrowing journey: His condemnation by Pilate, the burden of the cross, His falls, the compassion of Simon of Cyrene, the courage of Veronica, and the sorrow of the women of Jerusalem. You'll have the opportunity to step into the serene courtyard of the Church of St. Anne, a beautifully preserved Crusader-era church believed to be the birthplace of the Virgin Mary.

The pilgrimage culminates at the most sacred site in Christianity: the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Within its dark, incense-filled chambers lie both Golgotha, the hill of crucifixion, and the empty tomb, where Jesus rose from the dead.
